We have room blocks reserved at both of the following hotels. We currently reserved only 10 rooms at each hotel, but could maybe expand the blocks if we get a lot of people coming in for the wedding.
Both of the hotels are near the Costco by the Mall of Georgia. To get to both of them you would drive north on I-85 until you see exit 115 for the Mall of Georgia; from the airport this is approximately 40 miles.
Once you take the exit you have the option to go east or west on Buford Drive (the road which takes you past the mall and the Gwinnett Braves stadium). You will want to take the loop which brings you west. You will then want to get over into the left-most lane as quickly as possible and take the first left at the stoplight. This will take you past the Costco. Continue to follow that road and you will eventually see both the Courtyard and Fairfield on your left.
If you see the Gwinnett Braves stadium on your right, you have went the wrong direction.
Note: There is a Country Inn & Suites between the two hotels where we have room blocks. I am not recommending people get rooms at the Country Inn & Suites. I would only recommend the Courtyard and Fairfield/Wingate.
This hotel is the one we would most recommend. Here are some of the details as to why:
NOTE: There is not a free breakfast with these rooms. There is a bistro where you can purchase a breakfast though.

This hotel is currently in the process of being converted from a Wingate over to a Fairfield. The renovations will be done long before the wedding, but at this time the hotel is officially a Wingate.
Due to the fact that this hotel is current transferring ownership, I have been told it is best to call for reservations or use the link below.

The following transportation options are for getting people from the airport to the hotels and back. You will notice that they all have their different pricing schemes. I would recommend that if people are flying in as a group that they try to group their travel from the airport as well, as it will save money.
We have not used any of these services, but they were all mentioned by the hotels where we have room blocks and I have called each of them.
From my conversation with Sami, the owner, I think he mentioned that he has a variety of vehicles which range from Lincoln Town Cars to SUVs. This service came highly recommended from both hotels. Sami was very friendly and seemed to have a good sense of humor.
